WHO AM I?
I am Shelby Allisun, other than being an artist I am a senior at Spartanburg Methodist College, majoring in business with concentrations in management and entrepreneurship. I have been creating art ever since I could remember. It started out as a hobby but has now become a way to express my thoughts and emotions. My hope for my work is for people to see a reflection of their own story in my art.

The concept for my capstone project is to gather sufficient market research in order to build a foundation for my art business. This is because art is my passion and I do not wish to leave creating as just a hobby but to incorporate it into my career as well.
My business will provide the public with modern and surrealistic artwork that provokes thoughts and emotions.
I believe that gathering market research and laying a foundation for my business will prepare me to be ready to launch my own art business when I graduate.
